Building on the Momentum: Partnering for Patient Safety Excellence
In 2026, the Mid-Atlantic Patient Safety Conference brought together leaders, clinicians, patient and family partners, and industry contributors around a shared commitment to Partnering for Patient Safety Excellence. In 2027, we are building on that momentum—moving from conversation and connection toward deeper collaboration and collective action.
The 2027 conference will bring the patient safety community together to examine emerging challenges, share practical approaches, and strengthen the partnerships needed to make care safer. Participants will explore what is working, learn from one another, and identify strategies they can put into action within their organizations and across the broader healthcare system.
Together, we will continue to advance a shared vision for patient safety—one grounded in stronger systems, meaningful partnerships, and a collective responsibility to prevent harm and improve care.
