Christine Bish, RN, BSN, MBA, MHA, is the Executive Director of Patient Care Services at Carroll Hospital Center, part of the LifeBridge Health system. She brings over 45 years of nursing experience and more than 20 years in progressive healthcare leadership roles.
Christine has extensive expertise in leading strategic and operational initiatives that enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and organizational performance. In her current role, she is responsible for medical-surgical nursing units, including telemetry monitoring, dialysis services, inpatient and outpatient wound care programs. She oversees a multidisciplinary team of approximately 125 staff members and manages both fiscal and operational outcomes.
Her leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, staff mentorship, and continuous improvement in patient care delivery. Christine is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability while aligning departmental goals with system-wide priorities.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies.
Dawn Canova RN, WCC, CHRN
Clinical Nurse Manager of Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine

Dawn Canova is an experienced nursing leader with a career spanning more than 35 years in healthcare. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from 1988 to 2015 before earning her Registered Nurse (RN) degree from Carroll Community College in 2015. Since 2004, she has served at Carroll Hospital, a member of LifeBridge Health.
Dawn specialized in wound care beginning in 2015 and became Wound Care Certified in 2016. In 2017, she earned her Hyperbaric Certification and was appointed Hyperbaric Safety Director. Her expertise in wound management and hyperbaric medicine has contributed to improved patient outcomes and program development. From 2018 to 2022, Dawn served as Clinical Manager of Outpatient Wound Care. Since 2023, she has overseen both inpatient and outpatient wound care services. She is passionate about patient-centered care, clinical excellence, staff development, and advancing evidence-based wound care practices.
